Silver Scylla flowers blooming in Bernadinu kapinės

This picture has been taken in the Bernadinu Kapinės the 5th of April 2025 during the famous flower blooming happening in this cemetery every year for around a week. It is interesting to see the contrast of the light and the darkness, for many people cemeteries are sad and dark places but for many other they are a calm, resting and inspiring place. These wild flowers coming back every year carry a message of hope and resilience, and show us how important it is to be careful about green spaces in Vilnius, or anywhere else in the world.
